30-Foot-Tall Christmas Tree On Display At Apeejay House Lawn
At the Apeejay House on Park Street in Kolkata, the Apeejay Surrendra Group’s corporate headquarters, Christmas magic has come to life.
This year, a glittering Christmas wonderland of gold and silver has been created on the lawn of the Apeejay House. The centerpiece of the exhibit is a 30-foot-tall Christmas tree that is covered in gold and silver glitter. It has an 18-foot diameter. Gold, a traditional Christmas color, represents the gold gift given to baby Jesus by one of the wise men, while silver represents the star the wise men followed to find the infant, Jesus.
Additionally, you can see baby Jesus in his cot right next to the glistening Christmas tree that is covered in colors heralding the birth of Christ. While an 8-foot-tall snowman looks on from one side, an 8-foot-tall Santa Claus dressed in glowing snow bears stands next to the glittering Christmas tree and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas. Rice lights, light-up balls, and star lights are used to brighten the entire area. Not to be missed are the upside-down umbrella lights that have been hanging from the heavens in honor of the birth of Jesus.
The Christmas decoration put together by Apeejay Real Estate has been conceptualized and designed by Ms. Priti Paul, Director of Apeejay Surrendra Group and promoter of Apeejay Real Estate.
The installations will remain open for public viewing from outside the Apeejay House premises from December 23, 2022, to January 3, 2023. Dr. Shashi Panja, Hon’ble Minister of Industry, Commerce and Enterprise, Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal, and Tollywood actor Ms. Trina Saha switched on the lights of the Christmas décor.
The city’s preferred Christmas celebration location is Park Street. Due to its position, Apeejay House has continued to serve as the beginning point for Christmas celebrations for those entering Park Street from Chowringhee Road.
Apeejay Real Estate has put safety precautions in place and has all the necessary clearances and permissions from the state administration to erect the facility.
