A press meet was organized to announce the 3^rd International Annual Conference of Bengal Society of Haematology, BeSCHCON 2019. Professor J B Chatterjee centenary celebration was also be held at the same time.

Dr Tufan Doloi, Dr Maitreyee Bhattacharya, Dr Santana Basu and Dr Prantar Chakraborty graced the press conference.

70 faculties and 400 delegates from different states of India participated in the conference that took place on 16^th and 17^th February at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata.

Some of the major attractions of the conference were interactive workshops, discussion on the latest techniques of common and rare blood diseases and many others.

With the help of the conference, mass awareness was propagated among the common people regarding various blood diseases and cancers.
