ArtsAcre Foundation announced the date of the 4th edition of the Annual Art Fair & Festival – ART HAAT 2019, to be hosted this year in association with Emami Art. This art extravaganza would be held at the Arts Acre Museum of Bengal Modern Art and International Centre for Creativity And Cultural Vision from 6^th December 2019 to 9^th December 2019.

An interesting art ensemble titled ‘Inside the Fibre’ will be the highlight of the Haat. It is a show of seven contemporary artists Arpita Akhanda, Ghanashyam Latua, Kalpana Vishwas, Kaushik Halder, Mrinmoyee Deb, Promiti Hossain and Ruma Choudhury. The concept of ‘Inside the Fibre’ is to provide a platform to the new generation artists and their works and to showcase their creations.

This time Art Haat will be highlighting seven new generation artists and their innovative creations with myriad forms of paper as the principle medium. For the fair this year they are constructing more than 70 aesthetically designed stalls within the spacious campus where individual artists or groups and organizations will be displaying artworks, handicrafts, handlooms, etc to make them available for people to acquire at a very affordable price. The motto is to bring art closer to the mass.

Every evening during the fair, various cultural programs featuring folk music, folk dance, contemporary dance, band music, etc. will be performed. Food stalls from well-known food joints will serve mouth-watering delicacies during the Haat.
