“I can give you multiple reasons for watching the film. A horror film is releasing after a long time. The ghost is a child and prosthetic makeup has been used for making the child look like a ghost. This is a first in Bengali films. Sourav and Darsana will play the role of a father and mother, which is again a first. Chandreyee Ghosh will be seen as a nun for the first time. the visual and sound effects are amazing and it has never been heard before” said the director.

Apart from the horror elements, there is an element of romanticism, and comedy in the film too.

The cast of the film consists of Saurav Das, Darshana Banik, Chandreyee Ghosh, Kiaana Mukherjee, Rumki Chatterjee, Piyali Mukherjee, Amitavo Chatterjee, Swati Mukherjee, Ritwick Purkait, Jit Bhattacharya, Poly Chatterjee, Subhash Pachisia and others.

Saurav Das said “Bengalis will see a horror film after a long time. What will happen to a middle-class family after a ghost enters their family? I have never seen a mature child actor like Kiaana before. She had to sit for a long time for the prosthetics makeup. And then again she had to give time to remove it. Even grown-ups would become frustrated with this process. But the five-year-old endured the process with patience. She even developed rashes on her skin for which we had to stop the shoot for three days. Hats off to her dedication!!”

Looking sexy in a short red dress, Darshana was excited when she spoke about her role in the film. This is the first time that she is playing a mother onscreen and the actress looked happy with her role as Mandira. She also pointed out that gone are the days when actresses did not want to act in the role of a mother early in their career.

Rupam Islam, Siddhartha Ray (Sidhu), and Abhijit Barman (Pota) have sung the songs in the film.

Sidhu said “The day we were recording the song, my voice and Pota’s voice were not so good. However, due to some ghostly interference, the dubbing went off well and our voices sound good too. Hence, you can see that not all ghosts are bad. Some of them are helpful as well”.
