Since its founding, this association has arranged business-to-business (B2B) exhibitions and clothing fairs to support the growth of a modern, dynamic, and competitive apparel industry that is primarily composed of MSMEs and to assist the nation in becoming a major hub in the global textile supply chain. The non-retail Buyer Sellers Meet, or WBGMDA, has developed into a gathering spot for the most prominent and respectable businesses in the east of the nation. This event contributes significantly to the GDP and generates a large number of jobs.
Over the association’s 50 years of operation, its buyers and sellers meetings have consistently been successful. One of the largest B2B gatherings devoted to ready-made clothing is this one. Despite unstable economic conditions and industry volatility, the association has continued to grow and has provided the best possible support to the nation’s ready-made garment sector. This conference is the first of its kind in the business, having been sanctioned by the MSME department.
