At The Global Healers, a non-profit awards initiative was curated by communication specialist Shagufta Hanaphie and presented by Shagufta Hanaphie Events (SHE) in association with Swastya Holistic Healing Center and Alok Foundation at Oxford Bookstore Kolkata. The city of Kolkata recently witnessed its first-ever unique award and felicitation, which was given to 7 champions of wellness professionals.

The Global Healing Awards are the first of its kind in eastern India and your go-to, flexible resource for information on anything important related to holistic wellbeing. This calls for higher states of awareness and seeks to identify and honor individuals who bring about these shifts. Its main goal is to alter one’s perspective, which will lead to changes in lifestyle and habits. In addition to recognizing individuals who are making strides in this regard, the Awards also highlight current issues affecting contemporary society, such as abundance, harmony, immunity, and mental health. They do so by emphasizing work-life balance, personal space, mind, body, and soul.

The theme of The Global Healers 2024 is Mind, Body, and Earth. We can only genuinely heal when we combine them and take care of one another. They honor those who work in these fields to improve the community because they believe that our recovery is correlated with the health of the earth. The Global Healers have acknowledged and honored doctors, organizations, communities, holistic professionals, therapists, and warriors for mental health and sustainability.

They will also be holding several workshops, healing, and counseling sessions on mental balance and overall well-being for individuals, corporations, schools, colleges, and other settings under the auspices of THE GLOBAL HEALERS.

The  recipients of the award in 2024 were:

Prof Dr Sujoy Biswas- Motivation champion of the year

Dr Ranjita Sinha – Inclusivity Vision Icon of the Year.

Upama Ghosh- Well-being Entrepreneur of the Year.

Dr Debasish Bhattacharyya- Iconic Medical Healing Champion. 

Chaitali Das– Cancer Warrior of the Year.

Dr Jasmit Singh Arora- The Sustainability Champion of the Earth. 

Payal Varma – Mind-body healer of the year OF THE YEAR

A Special Sound Healing session was organized by Wellness Guru Mrs. Rajkumari Saharia, Founder of Swastya Holistic Healing Center & Co-organizer of The Global Healers.
