A painting exhibition titled Mom & Me of the mother-son duo namely Debashree D Mehta and Debraj Mehta was inaugurated recently at Academy of Fine Arts, West Gallery.

The exhibition as inaugurated by curator Mrs Radhika Dutta and the Chief Guest was Sampa Haldar, Editor, Shishu Kishor Sahitya Patrika, Chunu Munu.

Debashree is a self taught artist who has held many exhibitions previously- solo and as a group. She is a Masters in Modern History from Rabindra Bharati University. She has been honoured with many awards.

Her son Debraj is a class one student of Apeejay School and loves to paint. He also loves to write story and poetry too. He received the first prize at a painting competition organized by Government of West Bengal.

The exhibition will continue till 3^rd November.
