Bengali web-series Paap (literal translation-sin) began streaming from 2^nd October. A press meet was organized in the presence of the cast consisting of Puja Banerjee, Shaheb Bhattacharjee, Solanki Roy, Bhaswar Chatterjee, Rupsha Dasgupta, Priyanka Mondal and others.

The trailer of Paap was released in the presence of the cast and crew of the web-series.

Paap is about an ancient Durga Puja celebration, a family reunion, one unwanted guest, two dead bodies and great mystery. Tension arises in the family with this unwanted guest and the discovery of two murders.

This is the first time that Puja Banerjee acted in a Bengali web-series. Puja Banerjee plays Parboni in the web-series. The actress hoped that the audience will love her in the role as she has tried to do something new.

Shaheb plays the younger son in the family. He is not loved much by the family members. He is only loved by his small sister. According to Shaheb, the character is intense and the story is very complex. The actor shared his excitement on being offered such diverse roles to play in films and web-series.

Solanki Roy plays a Professor in the web-series. Her character is very close to her brother who has some mental problems. The actress revealed that she does not know about the ending of the web-series as none of the actors were aware of that. Solanki is also busy shooting for another web-series for Hoichoi.

Anupam Hari is the director of the web-series.

Bhaswar Chatterjee plays Srimanto in the web-series. He stays abroad with his family and he comes back to celebrate Durga Puja with his family. “Everyone has grey shades. Not one character is entirely black or white. That is the fun of this web-series” said the actor.
