Lime N Light Adda Session Organized at Inauguration of Sprish Studio
The cast and crew of the upcoming Bengali film Limelight consisting of director Reshmi Mitra, Rituparna Sengupta, Avirup Sengupta and others graced the Lime N Light adda organized at Sprish Studio.
The studio is the brainchild of Sulagna Ray Bhattacharjee who is a well known Odissi dancer.
Sulagna also talked about her newly launched Label Collection and skin friendly slow fashion. “There is a trend of using power looms to make huge number of clothes in a short span of time. But that is neither good for the weavers and is neither environment friendly. I have utilized weavers to make environment friendly handloom clothes and saris for the patrons” said Sulagna.
She also added that her boutique has products for all kinds of budgets of the patrons.
The jewellery at her boutique is made on 70 percent silver and has been made using semi-precious stones and other such things.
Rituparna Sengupta who inaugurated the studio praised Sulagna for her efforts. She also said that starting something is quite easy but having the stamina to maintain that in the long run is the hardest thing for one to achieve.
Speaking about the film Limelight, she said that it was a great film to work in. She also mentioned that every woman has a glamorous and a not so glamorous side in their personality.
Well known dancer, Avirup Sengupta will be making his debut as a choreographer in Bengali films with Limelight.
