Birsa Dasgupta is coming up with a psychological thriller named Mafia. The film will be produced by Parambrata Chatterjee. It must be added that Parambrata has acted in a film directed by Birsa. This is the debut work of Birsa in the web-series segment.

The story is about six friends who get involved in a psychological game named Mafia. They go to a desolate house and start playing the game. The game becomes a part of their lives and relationships. After this, they meet after six years. They again play the game. The game merges with the reality. Is someone among them the real Mafia?

The cast of the web-series has actors from Mumbai and Kolkata. Some of the cast members include Ridhima Ghosh, Ishaa Saha, Anindita Basu, Ankita Chakraborty, Namit Das (Mumbai), Madhurima Roy and so on.

The first series will have eight episodes of forty minutes each. The web-series will be made in both Hindi and Bengali. The cast will however remain the same for both the languages.
