The colour Blue symbolizes wisdom, faith, truth and trust and Kutchina always wanted to celebrate the festival of giving and compassion, which is why they introduced the first ever Blue Santa of the city.

Keeping with the theme of the true essence of Christmas, Kutchina took a noble initiative of felicitating the unsung heroes of our society by bringing in the first ever Blue Santas of the city. Their theme for this year’s Christmas is thus named as ‘Santa Clause with a Cause’.

These Unsung Heroes were the Traffic Guards, the Policemen, the Watchmen, Lift men, Security Guards, Sweepers, Cleaners and other such service men and women of the society. These are the people who never are off-duties and even have to do over-time duties so that we can enjoy the festivals without any glitches.

20 Blue Santas from the house of Kutchina was there in different areas across the city to spread joys in the lives of our Unsung Heroes by distributing presents such as Kutchina Small Appliances which are useful in their day to day lives. For example, the Security Guards stays awake during the night every day and they were given Electric Kettles, so that they can make tea & coffee to help them stay awake and also provide comfort in the chilly winter nights. They are going to celebrate this for three days, starting from Monday till Christmas.
