2020 is the golden jubilee year of Satyajit Ray’s Bengali classic Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne. This was being celebrated by P.C. Chandra Jewellers in a befitting manner, with setting up a Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne thematic book stall at the recently concluded 44th International Kolkata Book Fair. The stall was inaugurated by Shri A.K. Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Group in the presence of Shri Suvo Chandra, Joint Managing Director, P. C. Chandra Jewellers.

The Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne thematic stall is a tribute to the director Satyajit Ray and his revolutionized film. The brand has also developed unique jewellery collection based on film’s props, like dholak, nagrai shoes and many others. The stall was also decorated by a dozen rare still photos captured during the shooting of the film.

P.C. Chandra Jewellers is also working on a book, a collection of remarkable stories which will be presented in the form of a book to be released very soon.
