Kadambini Ganguly was the first lady doctor in Bengal who witnessed severe gender discrimination, racism and struggle for independence of the deprived gender. Her journey sketches the life of an ordinary woman achieving extraordinary place in the society during those days. She brings to the forefront, the negligence of women’s medical issues in an extremely conservative society.

Spearheaded by Team Zee Bangla, researched by Shibashish Bandopadhyay, written by Saswati Ghosh, the look and costume has been styled by Saborni Das.

Ushasi Ray will be enacting the title role of Kadambini Ganguly.

Kadambini will air from 6^th July onward, 8.30 pm, Monday to Saturday.
