Trailer Launch of Upcoming Bengali Film Koler Gaan; Gramophone as Main Hero of The Film’s Story
The trailer launch of the upcoming Bengali film Koler Gaan took place in the presence of director Pranab Mukhopadhyay, Chaiti Ghoshal, Raghab and others.
Koler Gaan or better known as Gramophone has a huge nostalgia in the lives of the Bengalis. The gramophone is itself the hero of the story of the film. The film will be a nostalgic ride for many Bengalis.
The story revolves around Chandrakanta (Paran Bandopadhyay), the owner of a gramophone and he loves listening to music on it. All goes on well until his son Chandan (Bhaskar Banerjee) gets married to Sumitra (Chaiti Ghoshal). She dislikes the music of the gramophone very much. Her dislike reaches to such an extent, that she plots on how to evict her father-in-law from the house.
Chandrakanta feels insulted and goes to stay with his friend Akhilesh Banerjee. He takes the gramophone with him. It is after he leaves that an antique collector meets them and tells them about the importance of the gramophone. What happens next?
Paran Bandopadyay, Chaiti Ghoshal, Bhaskar Banerjee, Anuradha Roy and others have acted in the film.
The story, script is by Pranab Mukhopadhay. The music has been composed by Pranab Mukhopadhay. There is only one song in the album. Raghav Chattapadhyay and Kumar Chattapadhyay have sung the song in the album.
