Bhowanipur 75 Palli Durga Puja Committee has come up with the theme Maa in 2020.

Everyone’s life across the globe has come to a standstill due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19. So on the 56th year of the puja, the theme of the puja is Maa. The committee members with this theme want the Goddess to eradicate the virus as she had dismantled the demon to save humanity.

Young artist Animesh Das is behind the theme of the puja this year. To take the puja on a global platform, they have tied up with LSU (London Sharod Utsav).

Social distancing norms will be maintained during the Pujas. The road leading to the pandal will not have barricades on its two sides.

The Durga Puja will be inaugurated by Smt. Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal on 18th October, 2020.
