A month-long food carnival featuring different mouth-watering delicacies of Bengal will be aired on different episodes of Fortune Rannabanna.

 The chill in the weather has made it a perfect time to enjoy delicious food. Though the pandemic may have dampened our fun and excitement to some degree, however, you can welcome the New Year by trying out these amazing dishes from the comforts of your home.

In tune with Poush Parbon, the audience of Bengal would get to see Fortune Rannabanna’s Pithe Parbon special episodes where recipes of traditional Pithes will be shared. The host Aparajita Auddy will give modern twists to the recipes, to dish out newer versions of the sweetmeats. Pithe Parbon week will be aired from 11th – 16th January, featuring mouth-watering delicacies like Moti Pithe, Golap Pithe, Mug Daaler Bhaja Pithe, Choco Patishapta, Gokul Pithe, and many more.

The age-old Bangal vs Ghoti debate is the cornerstone of quintessential Bengali culture. Each group has its cuisine and specialties to offer. This mix of flavors would be showcased in Fortune Rannabanna in their special feature Bangal Vs Ghoti series, which will be telecast from 18th –23rd January.

Celebrities like Shaheb Bhattacharya, Poni Debi (Footballer Krishanu Dey’s Wife) will be appearing as guests to cook dishes like Nababi Begun Pasand, Bhetkir Bandha Paturi, Chingrir Ombol, Mangsher Malpoya, Murgi Muitha, and many more delicious recipes.

The relationship between Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law has a special place in every Bengali family. Fortune Rannabanna captures this relationship intertwined with the recipes passing over the two generations in their special feature Shashuri – Bou-Ma Week from 1stFeb- 6th February. Celebrity Manali Dey and her mother-in-law Basudha would treat the audience to appetizing and tasty dishes like Mutton Jhal and Chhana Chingrir Bora on one such special episode in the week.

To celebrate Republic Day and Saraswati Puja there are celebrity episodes lined up with Sabitri Chatterjee as a special guest on Republic Day Special on 26th January and Haimanti Shukla on Saraswati Puja Episode on 16th February.
