The global pandemic might have changed the way we live and brought great changes in our lives. However, the pandemic could not dampen the exuberance and festive feel that starts with the coming of the Durga Puja. Most of you have already begun shopping for the Durga Puja. And one of the most important events that officially mark the coming of the Mother Goddess is Mahalaya.

Zee Bangla to cater to this need have come up with a Mahalaya Special event titled Nana Rupey Mahamaya.

Mahalaya on Zee Bangla will be celebrating the female power Adya Shakti. In the special episode, the protector (Shivani) and destroyer (Rudrani) avatars of the Mother Goddess will be shown. Many untold stories about the Mother Goddess will be told that will culminate in the story of Mahisasura Mardini.

Subhashree (Adyasakti), Paramita/Sriparna (Annapurna), Jamuna/Sweta (Chinnomasta), Apu/Susmita (Ma Kali), Jhelum/ Sraboney Bhuiyan (Lalita Tripurasundari), Mithai/Soumitrisha (Komole Kamini), Shyama/Tiyasha (Debi Koushiki) will be seen enacting the different avatars of the Mother Goddess.
