It is that time of the year again when Bengalis all over the world gear up to welcome the Mother Goddess. To cater to this festive mood of the Bengalis, Zee Bangla came up with a Pre-Puja event titled Agomoni Aradhana.

The channel reached out to the audience and conversed with them to create this adda session. The show wants to connect with the audience on the eve of Mahalaya.

The program’s concept has been derived from the Bengali tradition of Nishipalon. The family members on the last night of Pitripaksha organize Nishipalon. This is a prelude to Mahalaya or the start of Devi Paksha.

Agomoni Aradhana is a musical celebration to welcome the Mother Goddess. Celebrity performers of Bengal will be performing more than forty songs at the event. The songs will be from different genres like Rabindrasangeet, Nazrulgeeti, classical, Bangla modern, Agomoni, and band songs.

Some of the singers who will be performing are Jayati Chakraborty, Raghob Chatterjee, Sahoj Ma, Madhubani Bagchi, Durnibar, Aditi Munshi, Rishi Panda, Niharika, Arkadeep, and Anushka.

The adda session will be hosted by celebrities Shreema and Anik. Wonder Munna fame YouTuber will also be tickling the funny bones of the audience through the four hours of the event.
