After the success of his anti-logic films like Smug and Watchmaker, actor-director Anindya Banerjee is back with another anti-logic film titled Covet Letter.

The film revolves around a young boy who is a blogger by profession. A resident of Assam, he flees to Ukraine when NRC issue gains momentum. The Indian Government was trying to send him to Bangladesh against his will. The government in Bangladesh will also not allow him to enter Bangladesh. He calls up a friend in Ukraine who asks him to move there. He moves there and starts living with his friend and her husband. The girl’s husband works in the Indian Embassy. The boy is taken captive by the intelligence along with the girl. What happens next?

Mumtaz Sorcar, Anindya Pulok Banerjee (in a special role), Julia Barkova, Larrysa and others will be seen in pivotal roles in the film. Anindya’s daughter Oishika will also be making her acting debut with his film. Krishanu Mukherjee is the line producer of the film.

A part of the film will be shot in Ukraine. The film will be a multilingual film as it will be in English, Bengali and Ukrainian.
