Tumi E Ananya Organized To Recognize Women Achievers In Society
Tumi e Ananya was held at Nazrul Manch and presented by Nanighar in association with Rojkar Ananya.
“Tumi e Ananya” is a small effort to recognize such women achievers in society.
The judges were Samir Mitra (Ex DIG BSF), Ashok Ghosh (Retired IAS), Lopmudra Mitra (singer), Pradeep Kundalia (Businessman), and Dipankar Dey( EX- ED Indian Oil).
The eminent guests who were present are Ms. Chandrima Bhattacharya, Minister of State for Housing, Health and Family Welfare, Land and Land Reforms & Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation, Panchayats, and Rural Development of the Government of West Bengal and Dr. Shashi Panja, Honorable Minister-Of-State, (IC), Child Development and Women Development & Social Welfare Department, GoWB, and Chairperson, WBTGDB.
The event consisted of 3 award categories:

- Women Achievers Award
- Queens of the Kitchen Award for emerging home chef turns
- Entrepreneur and emerging entrepreneurs award
The Top 3 Tumi E Ananya by Judges Choice were Ankita Karmakar, Rajlakshmi Syam, and Shahana Meerza who were awarded a trophy and a certificate. The Top 5 Public Choice awards were Mimi Das, Tanima Majumdar Das, Maria Bhattacharya, Samita Halder, and Trisha Das.
The nominations for the award program were done through the online applications uploaded between 10th Oct to 16th Nov & 150 nominations were received from common people. Among the nominations top 20 were called for the award program, 3 contestants were chosen by eminent judges and the other 3 were chosen by public choice which had run from 23rd Feb to 28th Feb 22.

Ms. Alokananda Roy (Social change maker), Ms. Shaleni Biswas (Businesswoman), Ms. Barnali Chatterjee (Singer), Ms. Shabana Naseem, a Businesswoman (BRICS CCI), Ms. Ekavali Khanna (Actor), Ms. Sayani Das, (International acclaimed swimmer), Ms. Keya Seth (Business), Ms. Hasi Das (Business), and others.
Madhabi Mukhopadhyay received the lifetime achievement award (Sikha Singh Memorial Award). The award was presented by Activist Alokananda Roy, Cabinet minister Dr. Sashi Panja, Minister of State for urban development and municipal affairs Mrs. Chandrima Bhattacharya, Nilima Ghosh, owner of Nakshi creation, and Debjani Mukhopadhyay Editor in chief, Tumi Ananya, Founder Nanighar.
