Cheene Badaam’s Song “Bhalobashi Tai” Launched On Tram
Trams, Cheene Badaam all evoke nostalgia for most Bengalis. Most of us have traveled on the tram and have fond memories of the journey. To evoke that sense of nostalgia, the new song of the upcoming Bengali film Cheene Badaam namely Bhalobashi Tai was launched on a tram at Tollygunge Tram Depot.
Gracing the occasion were Ena Saha, Yash Dasgupta, Ishan Mitra, Mekhla Dasgupta, and director Shieladitya Moulik.
The song Bhalobashi Tai has been sung by Ishan Mitra and Somlata Acharya. The music is composed by Rupak Tiary.
Speaking at the occasion, Mekhla Dasgupta said “This is exciting. It is a new kind of promotion. I have not traveled on the tram and this is my first time at the tram depot. This is the third song of the film and I hope that the audience will love it”.
The story of the film is about Rishav who is from a technical background and develops a mobile app called Cheene Badam (Peanuts). This app helps to find friends for lonely people. His girlfriend Trishna helps him in making this app. However, with this project, their personal relationship is turned topsy-turvy. They turn to the app for finding friends. What happens next?
Ena Saha said that there is a great amount of nostalgia associated with Cheene Badaam and trams. “I do not like using the phone much. However, I have to use it for work purposes. I believe that if we use the time we spend watching videos on the phone, many family issues can be resolved” said Ena Saha.
Ena also added that the audience will understand and remember the different relationships when they will watch the film.
The film will release on 10th June.
