Jeetu Kamal Graces Khuti Pujo Of Hazra Udayan Sangha
Khuti Pujo has already started in different parts of Kolkata. This marks the beginning of the festivities leading to Durga Puja.
A reputed Durga Puja committee of Kolkata, Hazra Udayan Sangha recently organized their Khuti Pujo.
This marks the 77th year of their Durga Puja celebrations.
Gracing the occasion were Jeetu Kamal, Mala Roy, Debasish Kumar, and other eminent guests.
The theme for the Durga Puja this year is Sotoborshe Satyajit.
Jeetu Kamal played the role of Aparajito Ray in the film Aparajito directed by Anik Dutta. This film was a tribute to Satyajit Ray on his birth centenary. It showed the story behind the making of Pather Panchali.
Jeetu was honored at the event and the actor expressed his earnest gratitude for making him a part of such a grand event.
With the Khuti Puja already done, Hazra Udayan Sangha is gearing up with full enthusiasm to welcome the Mother Goddess in 2022.
