Indubala Bhaater Hotel, a very emotive and captivating online series, will be presented to audiences by hoichoi. However, the storyline isn’t the only thing noteworthy about this series. Tollywood diva Subhashree Ganguly also finally enters the OTT realm with it.

This new series, which was created by Debaloy Bhattacharya and features Subhashree Ganguly, focuses on Indu, a young girl from the Kalpota hamlet in Khulna, East Pakistan. At a very young age, Indu, who was married to an alcoholic in Kolkata, lost her husband and gave birth to a child. The hearth of the “Indubala Bhaater Hotel” was lit for the first time with the help of the meager savings that Indu had managed to accumulate with the support of a Bihari fisherwoman named Lachmi on the day that East Pakistan became Bangladesh.

The hotel’s specialties were seasoned with tales of the Bengals (India-West Bengal and Bangladesh) as well as a woman’s voyage through this metropolis. As the years go by, Indubala’s hotel prospers as more and more people, cuisine, and every Bengali’s yearning to transcend international borders to see their birthland remain there.

The actress was incredibly thrilled to finally make her OTT debut with a platform like hoichoi. “Since the characters in this series are so layered and difficult to understand, it feels like the perfect series for me to make my OTT debut with. I am a little anxious yet quite excited to play Indubala because it is a challenging, moving, and powerful piece of music. Additionally, this series gives me the chance to work with Debaloy Bhattacharya, who I have always wanted to collaborate with. I’m excited about it and have no doubt that the entire team will work incredibly hard to make this a success” added Subhashree.

The shooting of ‘Indubala Bhaater Hotel’ will start at end of August 2022.
