As a way of paying tribute to the nation on 75th Independence Day, the new patriotic song Jonmobhumi Tomay Nami was released in the august presence of singer Jhumki Sen, music composer and arranger Kalyan Sen Barat and lyricist Shubho Dasgupta.

MLA Debasish Kumar also graced the occasion of the song release.

Speaking at the song release event, Kalyan Sen Barat said “I am glad that Jhumki went out of her comfort zone and attempted to sing something different. And she has sung the song beautifully. I think that this song will be sung again and again on occasions like Republic Day or Independence Day. It does have an expiry date. It is different from the other songs as you feel something in your heart when you listen to it”.

To spread the message of peace on the occasion of Independence Day, Kalyan Sen Barat, Debasish Kumar, Jhumki Sen and others released pigeons.
