She announced that Meesho is India’s fastest-growing internet commerce company. More than 30000 small businesses from West Bengal are registered on the platform. The platform also had 102 million downloads in Q4 FY2022 which is more than 5X year on year.

“Zero commission” and “zero penalty” are the industry’s first initiatives taken up by Meesho.

The top categories of the suppliers in this region are apparel, personal care and wellness, home décor, and consumer electronics.

The mission of Meesho is to democratize e-commerce for all and achieve a goal of 150 million transacting customers by December 2022.

For the upcoming festive season, the company will provide a plethora of products at extremely low prices.

Meesho will also host the Maha Indian Savings Sale on 27th and 28th August, ahead of the upcoming festive season. The platform has roped in Sourav Ganguly as the brand ambassador for the marketing campaign for the upcoming festive season.
