“I am doing a comedy after so many years. The scenes are really funny and entertaining. I play the daughter-in-law while Paran Kaku plays the role of the father-in-law. Our characters go on quarreling every now and then. Despite that, the film has elements of love, comedy, and so many other elements. We are not feeling like we are shooting” said Arunima Ghosh at the shooting of Kirtan.

The director of the film Abhimanyu Mukherjee along with Paran Bandopadhyay graced the shooting.

“The character of Paran Bandopadhyay is one who wants that whatever he will say must be done instantly. If he asks you to clean the house now, it means it has to be cleaned now. Or else, he will start quarreling. This is the scene we are shooting. He asks his daughter-in-law to clean a space and she says that she is busy doing something. Hence she will do it later. He gets agitated and starts quarreling. And as a result, his health deteriorates” said the director in between the shots.

Gourab Chatterjee will be seen as the son of Paran Bandopadhyay’s character.
The music of the film is by Indraadip Dasgupta.

With the actors having so much fun during the shoot, one can expect that the audience will also have much fun while watching the film.
