Colors Bangla has come up with a new program titled Tellyplex where more than eighty stories made by acclaimed film makers will be shown for the television viewing audiences.

Rahul Chakravarti, Business Head, Colors Bangla and Odia and director Srijit Mukherji graced the press meet of the event.

To cater to the family audience, these telefims will be aired yet again for them. Some of the films which will be aired include Collage, Ulka, Rudra Sen er Diary, Achena Aponjon, Ekdeen Darjeeling, Babar Christmas and so on.

Speaking at the event, Srijit Mukherji said “These telefilms have inspired me very much. It is by watching them that I became interested in the art of film making. And now to be able to interact with those film makers in between the screening of the films gives me immense happiness”.

When questioned whether he will be making telefilms in future, the director said that he will not make telefilms. “The ideas that have already been explored by the master directors are so ahead of their times. If I get a great idea, I will make it in a film” added Srijit Mukherji.

Tellyplex will begin from 11^th February, Monday to Friday at 10 pm.
