Merlin I Am Kolkata, the Corporate Social Responsibility division of Merlin Group, one of the real estate giants, along with the youngsters of Pathchala, a non-profit working for the welfare of underprivileged children in Kalighat, celebrated Children’s Day.

“Merlin I am Kolkata,” a CSR project of the Merlin Group, has been promoting sustainability, education, and skill development. He received praise from The Millennium Post as well. The United Nations Sustainability target mission supported the trash management and cycling competitions that Merlin I Am Kolkata participated in. Its creator Shri Saket Mohta has received honors for his work on sustainability, such as The Times Philanthropy Honours.

Saket Mohta, Managing Director, Merlin Group and founder of  Merlin I Am Kolkata gifted educational stationeries to the children of Pathchala and Rukmini Paul, President of Pathchala. Soumitra Ray, founder of  Bangla Band Bhoomi and an ace singer graced the occasion as the chief guest. Prasun Bhowmic Hon’ble member of the West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights graced the occasion as the guest of honor.

During the celebration, kids participated in educational quizzes and a drawing contest. Dance recitals by kids were also performed. The audience and kids were mesmerized by magician Kaushik Biswas’ magic presentation.

A noble initiative indeed!!
