The Greek-themed all-day brewery and kitchen in the City of Joy, Ølterra, joined together to share their most recent endeavor, which was drawn from West Bengal’s rich cultural heritage. The team has developed the original idea of a storytelling menu through the art of cocktails in honor of its name, where “Øl” means beer, “Terra” means land, and together, “Ølterra” means “Land of Beer.” With its unique cocktail menu, In Search of Bengal, Ølterra offers a chance to showcase the cuisine, customs, and culture of West Bengal through the Art of Mixology. Their roots are firmly planted in the “Cultural Capital of India”.

Ølterra hosted a tasting experience to mark the launch of the cocktails and incorporate the same into their menu.

The evening was graced by Neel Bhattacharya, Trina Saha, Koneenica Banerjee, Lopamudra Mandal, Preeyam Budhia, Mohammad Iqbal, and others.

The “In Search of Bengal” cocktail menu, created by in-house bartending genius Subhobrata Majumder and his crew, delves deeper into the rich culture and illustrious history of many locations in West Bengal. Every district in West Bengal has a distinct history of flavors, and the diner was greatly inspired to create this special menu with 6 distinctive cocktails.

They are Ingraj Baazar, Aparajito, Hostoshilpo, The King of Nature Lalpahari and others.
