“It Takes An Army To Make A Film”- Director Prataya Saha On Mein, Mehmood

The press conference of I’M Mehmood(Mein, Mehmood) took place in the presence of director Prataya Saha, Sounak Sen Barat, and Anshulika Kapoor at 28th KIFF.

Mein, Mehmood is dedicated to the life of hardworking immigrants who lives all around the world. It shows the life of Mehmood who is a simple middle-aged man from India who immigrates to the Middle East in search of a better life for his family.

Speaking at the press conference, the director said “It takes an army to make a film. Filmmaking is a collaborative effort and this cannot be done on your own”.

The producer and cast of the film are Ozair Andul Aleem.

The editor of the film is Abhishekh Saravanan.

The music has been composed by Karthik Bhandare.

The Hindi short film is 11 minutes.

The director also revealed that he has plans of making feature films in early 2023. His script is ready and he is on the lookout for producers who can invest in his film.

Mein, Mehmood was part of the Competition on Indian Short Films segment.
