Once Upon a Time in Aqua is designer Pranay Baidya’s two folded love story with fashion and travel.

Pranay Baidya in association with The Park presented this one of a kind showcase on recently in Kolkata.

Present at the event was eminent personalities like Tiffany Anderson, Chinni Dragon, Diana Trellor, Corina Poppa, Alexey Idamkin, Fabrice Placon, Jürgen Thomas, Micheal Fiener, Carmen Espinoza, Venus Asawapoom, DhruvBhalla, Pradeep Khemka, Nayantara Pal Chowdhury, Nilanjana and Srinjoy Bose, Nilufer Archmant, Shaheb Bhattacherjee,  Koneenica Bandopadhayay.

The presentation was divided into three dedicated Chapters -From Bankura to Sicily”. This section showcased a bohemian mix of shirt dresses, ruffled maxi dresses & tunics in Sicilian hues of pistachio green, blossom pink, lemon yellow, grotto blue, coral red & marsala. A range of hand printed, hand finished silk scarves accompanied each look.

“Wanderlust” Men’s Celebration wear consisted of contemporary Ethnic wear.

“Inspired by India” Womens & Men’s Celebration wear comprised of lehengas, skirts, sarees and menswear and were inspired by mughal miniatures and their exquisite filigree architecture.

The showstoppers, Mrs India International Richa Sharma dazzled in an intricately embroidered nude peach Mughal garden inspired organza Lehenga and Amrapali Jewels. Ace directors Nandita Roy walked the ramp in a tussar-georgette Benarasi Saree with intricate Pasha motifs woven in Antique gold thread and Shiboprasad Mukherjee looked regal in a Royal Blue Chanderi embroidered Kurta ensemble.

The evening was high on fashion and glamour for sure!!
