Unplugged: Best of the UK, a three-day photography exhibition organized by the Bengal Heritage Foundation (BHF), the Indo-British Scholars’ Association (IBSA), and the British Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, was inaugurated on 10th March.
From March 10 to March 12, the photographic show will be open. 19 photographers from Kolkata and London captured a wide range of visual narratives about the UK for the photos.
Amit Sengupta of the British Deputy High Commission and Saptarshi Kar of the Indo-British Scholars’ Association are the geniuses behind the photography exhibition. Those are the prominent photographers whose work is on display. In addition to them, 17 additional photographers from Bengal and Britain have also contributed their work. Members of the London-based Bengal Heritage Foundation have also contributed. Pallavi Majumdar and Surasree Seal organized the exhibition.
The photo exhibition will serve as a living bridge between India and the UK, especially for Indians who are connected to the country through work, education, and cultural ties. Those who have ties to the UK and are visiting the exhibition will be brought back by the photographs.
The GREAT British Season is a celebration of the shared living bridge between the United Kingdom and India that includes the “Best of the UK” photographic exhibition. As part of this season, they are planning a wide range of programs and events to highlight their past, present, and potential connections in culture, education, sports, technology, and tourism.
