Komola O Shreeman Prithviraj, a charming, enjoyable, humorous yet poignant romantic comedy, will start soon on Star Jalsha.

Komola O Shreeman Prithwiraj, a magnum opus of Bangla television, offers moments of delicate love, laugh-inducing circumstances, and a wholesome yet profound rom-com narrative with alluring images.

Manik is a boisterous, unstoppable troublemaker, a notorious brat, far from his studies, who looks up to Shreeman Prithviraj as an inspiration and frequently imagines himself in the position of the legendary king. Komola, on the other hand, is a cultured, educated, and clever young lady who is fluent in both English and other languages, which was unusual for girls or women at the time. She is well-groomed and has a piano-playing ability.

In the show, Manik & Komola—two polar different youths who don’t really comprehend what love or marriage are—are seen having to get married.

Both of their families are diametrically opposed to one another. Manik’s father Phonibhushan (played by Kushal Chakraborty), an advocate is a man of sense and sensibility and a true patriot who never passes up the chance to win a legal case against the British.

Rudrapratap, Komola’s father, is an ardent supporter of the British and desires the title of Rai Bahadur from them.

As events develop, the two children, Manik and Komola, are destined to marry one another despite their hatred for one another. The tale of two young lovers begins with them progressively revealing their romance to the audience. As Komola stays in Manik’s home with her two mother-in-law, father-in-law, and other family members, a sequence of amusing and heartwarming incidents occur.

The show is produced by Acropolis Entertainment.

Komola’s character played by Ayanna Chatterjee and Sukrit Saha will be seen playing the role of Manik. Other important roles will be played by the ensemble cast Kushal Chakraborty, Abhijit Guha, Sohini Sanyal, Kaushik Chakraborty, and many others.

Watch Komola o Shreeman Prithwiraj from 13th March onwards every day at 6:30 pm only on Star Jalsha HD & SD.
