3rd Edition Of The Mountain Music Festival Marks 10 Years Of The Dreamers
Khukumoni Sindur and Alta present Mountain Music Festival Season Three in association with JP Travels, Ananya Pal, Artage, Carpe Diem.
The third edition of the Mountain Music Festival will be digitally streamed on The Dreamers’ Facebook page on April 13, 8:30 PM, before the Bengali New Year to mark the occasion of ten years of The Dreamers.
This concert will be performed in Fagu, North Bengal, on the bank of the river Chel, which flows by the side. The music will range from the melody of Hamma Hamma on the sitar to the melody of Rabindranath’s song on the Esraj, from Lalon Sai’s song to the songs of a Bengali band.
It aims to commemorate the interaction between new mountains on the lap of Mountain and Mudic and nature. All of nature’s songs can be heard in the chirping of birds, the gurgling of rivers, and the rustling of leaves in the forest. It is evidence that music is present everywhere and it has no boundaries.
This is the brainchild of Sudipta Chanda. The third season of this unique show, which celebrates The Dreamers’ tenth anniversary, will be accessible on The Dreamers’ Facebook page on April 13.
Among the artists of this year, the musical performance by Shouvik Mukherjee, Aritra Sunny Mukherjee, Amlan Chattopadhyay, Madhurjo Mukherjee, Gourab Hatui, Ayaan Chakraborty, Sourojyoti Chatterjee, Raktim Banerjee, Palash Bhattacharya will mesmerize the audiences.
Be it instrumental recitals on the Sitar, Esraj, Darbuka, Guitar, Tabla, or vocal performance, this year’s Mountain Music Festival will be full of celebration of world music.
