The book launch of Baul Premik (4^th Edition) by Sri Sanatan Das Baul took place in the august presence of Parvathy Das Baul, Shirshendu Mukhopadhayay, Pracheta Gupta, Minakshi Mishra, ICCR Director, Anindya Chatterjee, Ajanta Roy Chowdhury, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee, Biswanath Das Baul, Lopamudra Mitra, and other eminent guests.

The book has been compiled by Parvathy Das Baul.

The book is the culmination of Sri Sanatan Das Baul Das Thakur’s entire life of sadhana. The book is a first-of-its-kind initiative to introduce Baul Sadhana to the modern world. The USP is that the book is written by Baul Sadhak himself.

Baul Premik is a conversation between a Baul and a Premik. Premik puts forward his question and the Baul answers the questions. Baul answers the questions based on his knowledge. As the conversation progress, Baul enters in a deep sadhana tattva.

The book introduces readers to the devotional life of the Baul saints.

The published first and second edition of the book is presented in the fourth edition in the section called Sutrapat. It also has an unpublished manuscript called Antim Charan.
