One of the most popular bands of Kolkata, Lakkhichhara, released their much-awaited sixth album, titled Ek Doshok Por.

The album was launched in Chapter 2 by ace musician Debojyoti Mishra and singer, Rupankar Bagchi, and Anupam Roy in the presence of the band members Rajiv Mitra (Vocals), Gaurab Chatterjee aka Gaboo (Drums/Vocals), Debaditya Chaudhury (Keyboards), Sanket Bhattacharya popularly known as Panku (Bass), Bodhisattwa Ghosh (Guitars/Vocals), John Paul (Guitars/Vocals) & Anirban Bob Mazumder (Lyrics)and a host of musical stalwarts from the industry.

With their most recent production, “Ek Doshok Por,” Lakkhichhara is prepared to enthrall viewers once more. The four tracks on this much-awaited album—Ghete Jachchhe Shob, Ekhane Bigyapon Mariben Na, Padabi &Upohaar—promise to demonstrate how the band’s sound has changed over the years. Fans can anticipate that this outstanding collection of songs will perfectly capture Lakkhichhara’s distinctive sound. At the event, the song Ghete Jachchhhe Shob’s music video was also released.

Debaditya Chaudhury said “Now is the digital era. Singles have replaced music albums. We are also following this trend. However, for fans of our band, we have come up with this album. It took us ten years to come up with this album. The sound shows the music of today’s times. However, we have kept alive the rock music tradition”.

Speaking at the event, Rupankar Bagchi said “I have been a fan of their music for many years now. The fact that they have come up with this album is a great gift for music lovers. The domination of film music is immense. Even in such a situation, composing independent music is a huge challenge. Hats off to the team”.

Anupam Roy said that by the time he started his journey as a musician, the band had already released two albums. He congratulated the band on the newly released album.
