Watch Murder Mystery Kumudini Bhavan From 25th August On Hoichoi

The trailer of Kumudini Bhavan was unveiled at Soul-The Sky Lounge café.

The event was graced by Ushasi Ray, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Rishav Basu, director Arkadeep Mallika Nath, and others.

The trailer begins with an introduction to Kumudini Bhavan, a girls’ hostel where Durba is a resident and has an ongoing relationship with Rwik, a kid who is allegedly “mentally challenged” and the grandson of the hostel owner. Sadly, after seeing them threatening another resident, she unfortunately meets an untimely death. A police officer who is dissatisfied with his position takes charge of the inquiry, and his right hand is Anusree, the new resident of the hostel. He takes her under his wing at her request and in response to her desire to solve crimes, and together they question residents and employees of the mess. More secrets are revealed, and there are many different murder-related possibilities.

Ushasi Ray, who has previously collaborated with hoichoi on numerous shows, said, “Anusree’s character is highly relatable, vibrant, and endearing. She is like that intelligent but irritatingly bright young adult who is trying to find the criminal. Within our murder mystery series, Hochi and Anusree’s connection is quite an entertaining ride, and I’ll always be appreciative to the entire crew for making the process so enjoyable.

Ushasi Ray said “As is said in the trailer, I also wanted to do a detective character for a long time. Finally, that wish has been fulfilled with Anusree. I had worked with Rishav earlier and this is my first time working with Ambarish da. It was a great experience. We all have worked really hard to make this series”.

Ambarish Bhattacharya said, “Hochi is a different policeman. This character is different from the other police characters that I have played to date. Why he is called Hochi is what the audience will have to watch the series to know. This is a serious and comic character. He is a police officer who does not want to work in this field. However, he has to solve the case of the murders happening at the hostel. Can he solve them?”

Rishav said that there is a huge rush of detectives like Byomkesh and Feluda. And a detective like Anusree is like the black sheep in the flock. It will be interesting to see how the audience reacts to this new detective on the block.
