InDrive, a global mobility, urban services, and community development platform that has completed more than two billion rides worldwide, is upending the ride-sharing market in India by enabling customers and drivers to agree on more reasonable prices. Customers can choose the pricing for their journeys using inDrive, which is available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Chandigarh, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Jaipur, and Bhopal.

InDrive’s worldwide expansion plan, challenging injustice by developing more equitable solutions to close the gaps in disadvantaged communities has become essential.

Avik Karmakar, South Asia GTM Manager, inDrive, Mohan Pradhan, Business Development Manager, inDriveIndia and Bangladesh, and others graced the press conference.

To enhance safety, they have introduced the Safety Pact – an initiative empowering users with dedicated features, tips, and a code of conduct for drivers and passengers.

Since inDrive is a “people-driven” app, it was developed considering the needs of both passengers and drivers. It is a platform that allows for a reasonable cost and connects drivers and passengers in real-time.

InDriver (Independent Drivers), a marketplace for urban services, has evolved over time to become inDrive (Inner Drive).  InDrive is a people-focused business that holds the view that no amount of technology can ever fully replace human empathy. Because fair pricing is something people can agree on, not hope for, inDrive exists to demonstrate that ride-hailing apps can and should be more human. The fare, automobile type, anticipated arrival time, and driver ratings can all be taken into account when deciding whether to accept a ride or not. Drivers can choose to accept profitable requests from users.

The company will also be introducing EV cars for customers to choose from. After a substantial number of EV drivers have joined them, they will be showcasing the EV cabs for customers in their apps. This will decrease the cost considerably.

With the launch of Alternativa Film Project, a global non-profit film initiative devoted to assisting up-and-coming filmmakers from the Asian region, the international technology company inDrive, known for its inventive peer-to-peer pricing model, announced that it will be expanding its mission of advancing global equity. The curriculum consists of three main components: training to advance and upskill the next generation of filmmakers, finance via cash prizes given to winners, and an innovative awards ceremony that recognizes the significance of local feature films, animated films, documentaries, and short films.

InDrive serves more than 100 million users worldwide in more than 700 cities across 48 countries on five continents and is currently the second most downloaded mobility app worldwide.
