For the launch of the Durga Pujo song Gouri Elo from Raktabeej, the team got together at Metropolitan Durga Bari.

The event was graced by Nandita Roy, Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Satyan Bhattacharya, Anashua Majumdar, and others.

Directed by eminent director-duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Raktabeej is an edgy thriller. This is also the first time that this director duo has directed a thriller.

“This is a Durga Pujo song. We requested Dohar to make this song. Windows has a long association with Kalika da. We asked Dohar to compose the three songs of the film and they did that so well. With Gouri Elo, this is an ideal song for welcoming the Mother Goddess” said Shiboprosad Mukherjee.

The Burdwan blast in 2014, which rocked Bengal and the entire nation, served as inspiration for the movie. The film will narrate the story of a guy returning home who has a key position and how an accident in a firecracker unit reveals a greater threat to his life.

Nandita Roy said, “It is very important that you listen to the song and if you like it, ask others to listen to it. By sharing the song can you make it popular, and more people will listen to this amazing composition”.

The backdrop of the film is Durga Puja.

Raktabeej is slated for release during the Durga Pujas.
