Deep Fridge receives an official selection at the Ajanta-Ellora International Film Festival (AIFF) following the International Film Festival of India (IIFI).

Divorces are difficult and complex. The drive for love and a relationship that lasts just long enough to make one predisposed has been refined by evolution in the human brain. Swarnava and Mili are both victims of this cruel, skewed notion of an ideal marriage in “Deep Fridge“. Will they be able to move past their divorce and have a clearer perspective to create a future free of guilt for each of them individually, one that is just for their only child Tatai?

The story and direction are by Arjunn Dutta.

“I have always had a sharp eye for detail and found interpersonal relationships to be fascinating. Even though divorce is more widespread than ever in today’s culture, we still avoid discussing it. I have witnessed nearby couples who were unhappy in their unions and eventually filed for divorce. However, one question has always captured my attention. Does the spirit of the past relationship fade entirely, or does it remain forever somewhere deep within the heart?

‘Deep Fridge’ thus follows the path of a couple like that who had a child after their divorce” said director Arjunn Dutta.

The film is presented by Krishna Kyal and produced by Colors of Dream Entertainment.

The cast consists of Abir Chatterjee, Tnusree Chakraborty, Debjani Chatterjee, Anuradha Mukherjee, Kaushik Chatterjee, and others.

The music, lyrics, and background score have been composed by Soumya Rit.

Deep Fridge has a great story. It will surely be able to grasp the attention of the audience at the festival.
