Customers can now use the Zomato App to order freshly prepared basic meals from certified Momchefs and Homechefs of Nanighar and receive them in less than an hour. Nanighar allows appointments for pre-orders six hours to fifteen days in advance.

Momchefs and home chefs make food from scratch, and a lot of them go grocery shopping every day to make sure they have fresh ingredients—no precooked food, as advertised on the Nanighar app. This time, a few Nanighar chefs will be taking orders in real-time for the most basic dishes, and the food will be delivered via the Zomato app within an hour. It has been carefully chosen to accommodate office orders and people with hectic schedules. Additionally, it maintains the pre-booking model already in place by providing a variety of chef mothers to serve the patrons.

Delicious dishes like Echorer Dalna, Chital Macher Muithya, Biriyani, Mughlai Parathas, Mutton Dak Bungalow, Ilish Bhapa, Bhetki Paturi, and others have to be pre-ordered.

The 2019 debut of Nanighar, the brainchild of businesswoman Debjani Mookherjee, aims to empower homemakers who have a culinary hobby. Nanighar was founded to utilize people’s culinary talents to empower people, particularly mothers, and homemakers. It has been effective in turning skilled home cooks into self-employed business owners.

Ms. Mookherjee claims that this is an effort to provide additional opportunities for mom chefs who can deliver meals daily.
