Poila Boisakh menu was launched recently at Saptapadi restaurant in the august presence of Chef Ranjan Biswas, Partner, Saptapadi.

The special menu has been designed keeping in mind the rich cultural heritage of Bengal. Baishaki Bhoj and Baishaki Mahabhoj Thali are the two prime attractions of the menu for the Bengali New Year.

Baishaki Bhoj Thali is priced at Rs 799 and consists of rice/pulao, dal, any vegetarian item, aloo bhaja, salad, beguni, chingri/papda, dhonepata sores bhetki, rum chilly wings, chicken/mutton, chutney, papad and dessert.

The Baishaki Mahabhoj Thali on the other hand costs Rs 999 and consists of rice/pulao, dal, veg item, aloo bhaja, beguni, salad, dhonepata sores vetki, illish, chitol muitha, rum murgi wings, chicken/mutton, chutney, papad and dessert.

A-la-carte dishes are also available for the patrons too. Some of the dishes are Katla kalia, Illish bhapa, Chingri malai curry, Daab chingri, Dalchini murgi, Kochi pathar jhol and so on.

The timing is from 12 noon to 12 pm. The pocket pinch for two people is Rs 800.

The special menu will be available from 13^th to 15^th April, 2019 at both the outlets of Saptapadi at Baghajatin and Purna Das Road.
