“This Is My Second Time At Habitat Film Festival”-Arjunn Dutta
Director Arjunn Dutta’s film Deep Fridge was screened at the prestigious 16th Habitat International Film Festival.
The audience appreciated the film and it was an almost houseful show.
“Habitat has always been very special to me because my debut feature film Abyakto was screened in 2019. At the time, the theatre was packed, and I received a standing ovation for the movie. I was here for the second time, and the crowd was well-educated and polished. The crew as a whole received excellent feedback, and Deep Fridge was well appreciated. After seeing the movie, Taslima Nasrin ma’am provided her thoughts. She also said that I would make better films soon and praised me for being a beacon of hope in the dark days for Bengali cinema. At the event, I also ran into actress Mita Vashisht, and we talked about Deep Fridge. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. I would like to be a part of it again” said Arjunn Dutta.
Divorces are difficult and complex. The drive for love and a relationship that lasts just long enough to make one predisposed has been refined by evolution in the human brain. Swarnava and Mili are both victims of this cruel, skewed notion of an ideal marriage in “Deep Fridge“. Will they be able to move past their divorce and have a clearer perspective to create a future free of guilt for each of them individually, one that is just for their only child Tatai?
The film is presented by Krishna Kyal and produced by Colors of Dream Entertainment.
The cast consists of Abir Chatterjee, Tnusree Chakraborty, Debjani Chatterjee, Anuradha Mukherjee, Kaushik Chatterjee, and others.
The music, lyrics, and background score have been composed by Soumya Rit.
Congrats to the team of Deep Fridge.
