Jhore Jole Jongole Eco Heritage Resort presents Ilish Utsav, a gastronomically delicious festival of the beloved fish of the season, Hilsa. The festival began in August and continues till 30th September 2024. This festival promises a magnificent experience along with the distinct allure of the Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world.

This carefully chosen menu showcases the distinctive flavors and cooking methods that make Hilsa a prized delicacy, giving guests a genuine experience of Bengali culture and history.

The menu includes Ilish Bhapa, Ilish Paturi, Begun Alu Diye Ilisher Jhol, Ilish Fry, Ilish Jhal, Ilish Macher Matha Diye Kochu Sag, Kalo Morich Diye Ilish Machher Jhol, Posto Elish, Doi Ilish and Ilish Tel Jhol.

Illish Utsav Package: Priced at INR 2,999/- per person per night, this package includes: Breakfast, Evening tea and vegetarian snacks, Lunch and dinner featuring Hilsa dishes as per the Chef’s choice & A visit to the tiger rescue centre.

Group Package: Priced at INR 5,999/-per person and only applicable for a minimum group of 10 people and above for 2 nights, this package includes Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner featuring Hilsa dishes as per the Chef’s choice, Evening tea and snacks along with Baul music, a visit to the tiger rescue center & Boat Safari.

Apart from the culinary feast, guests can enjoy a range of activities like Boat Safari & Fishing amidst the breathtaking view of nature while navigating the waterways of the Ponchomukhani River, Bidyadhari River, Sudhanyakhali Camp, Dobanki Camp & Watch Tower, Pirkhali-1, Pirkhali-2, BonobibiVarani, Sundor Khali River and Gazikhali Creek.
