Taste Authentic Lebanese Dishes At Souk’s Lebanese Food Festival
The Taj Bengal in Kolkata is excited to present a Mediterranean-inspired gastronomic adventure. Ammar Molki, a well-known Lebanese chef, has created a menu highlighting the region’s vivid flavors and fresh ingredients.
Patrons may enjoy the genuine flavors of Lebanon, Morocco, and Greece with everything from the traditional Hummus and Pita to the more daring delicacies like Lamb Barkook and KnafiJibneh. Every dish reflects Chef Molki’s love for Lebanese cooking, making for a special and memorable dining experience.
Chef Ammar Molki said, “Discussing a cuisine without mentioning its history and culture is impossible. Food can be both good and tasty, as seen in Lebanese cuisine. It has flavor but isn’t rich, spicy, or oily. Contrary to popular assumption, fresh veggies and herbs make up a large portion of our meal. We use olive oil, one of the healthiest cooking oils available, to prepare our food. Individuals in our nation often lead long, healthy lives. In India, although dishes like pita bread and hummus are highly popular, not many people have had the opportunity to taste the authentic version. It would be my joy to share the cuisine I grew up consuming with the Indians as a chef”.
The Lebanese Food Festival at Souk will run from 23rd to 25th August. It will be available for dinner only.
