The grand inauguration of café Cafeiva was graced by Anupam Halder (WBCS, Joint Commissioner of Revenue, Govt. Of West  Bengal), Panchali Munshi (WBCS, Joint Commissioner of Revenue, Govt. Of West Bengal)and Paramita Bannerjee (Model & Actress).

The owner of the café is Sohan Poddar. He came back from abroad after completing his management. He decided to start his own business and not work anywhere else. He received great help from his parents Sanjib Poddar and Shilpi Poddar to fulfil his dreams.

Sohan wants to develop Cafeiva into a reputed brand. He wants to serve the best coffee in the city. He also has plans to introduce a Continental and Tandoor fusion menu for food lovers in Kolkata.

The café is spread over an area of 600 square feet.

There are 24 seats in the café.

The café serves Chinese, Continental, and Mughlai dishes.

Also available are 15 different kinds of coffee.

The owner also highlighted that the café will soon have 15 more seats.

He also plans to open two or three outlets serving Bengali food in the next 6 months.

The café is located near Durga Bari at the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass.
