The second day of Visual Artist, Ms Natasha Datta Roy’s three-day solo exhibition, Echoes of Her Essence – A Tribute To The Indomitable Spirit Of Women In Art, organized in cooperation with Different Strokes and Art Hive, saw a particular tribute to notable female artists.

To commemorate the birth anniversaries of two prominent Indian artists, Amrita Sher-Gil and Shanu Lahiri, the event recognized six eminent female artists from Kolkata for their outstanding contributions to the area of art. Ms. Arunima Choudhury, Ms. Binita Bandyopadhyay, Ms. Alakananda Sengupta, Ms. Sarbani Ganguly, Ms. Papri Chowdhury, and Ms. Tamali Dasgupta were honored for their great efforts, making this event a poignant reminder of women’s ongoing legacy in the Indian art world.

The exhibition highlighted the dynamic and complex essence of feminine energy via 26 evocative artworks grouped into three separate groups.

Echoes Of Her Essence, produced by Mr Jewel Paul, a distinguished curator from Bangladesh, considers the beauty of nature’s design: the woman as a complement to her male counterpart, resulting in harmony rather than conflict. This exhibition challenged patrons to rediscover femininity’s potential as complementing energy that elevates and completes rather than competes. Echoes Of Her Essence is more than just a collection of artwork; it is a cry to embrace balance, respect nature’s wisdom, and honor the feminine spirit for its important role in building a peaceful world.
