Kolkata hosted the auction of the eagerly awaited Entrepreneur’s Premier League (EPL) sixth edition. The introduction of the first-ever men’s and women’s leagues in EPL 6.0 Khelo Cricket was a landmark event. Anand Gupta founded the EPL in 2021, and since then, it has expanded from its original three-team structure to ten vibrant teams, reflecting the growing interest and involvement in this distinctive entrepreneurial cricket league.

Ninety players participated, including four women’s teams and six men’s teams.

Ten committed team owners helped their teams succeed by providing support and guidance.

Anand Gupta, the league’s founder, was thrilled about the auction and the league’s growth. “Cricket was about more than just cricket. It was about fostering relationships, encouraging leadership, and honoring the spirit of entrepreneurship. We were thrilled to watch business owners unite, engage in passionate competition, and make lifelong memories on and off the field”. said Mr. Gupta.

Teams carefully assembled their teams in an attempt to win the season, making the auction event an exciting show. The matches gave entrepreneurs a great opportunity to network, strengthen their teams, and encourage healthy competition.
