On this International Women’s Day, Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL) is paying tribute to SuPoshan Sanginis by releasing an engaging four-video series called Stories of Sanginis: A Tribute to Their Strength. The show will highlight the efforts of various Sanginis, who serve as village volunteers for the Fortune SuPoshan program in various regions of India and have improved the lives of the locals by teaching them about nutrition and health.

Adani Wilmar’s Fortune SuPoshan program was introduced in 2016 and is run by the Adani Foundation, the Adani Group’s corporate social responsibility division. With its innovative strategy that entails active engagement with stakeholders, such as gramme panchayats, local governing bodies, healthcare facilities, and ASHA employees, the project has been significantly improving the lives of countless people.

The SuPoshan Sanginis, the unsung heroes of our communities, are being honored by the Fortune SuPoshan initiative for their perseverance and dedication to promoting positive change. At the grassroots level, these women have become pillars of strength, helping families improve their overall health, nutrition, and well-being.

As a Sangini performs health examinations, leads nutrition awareness sessions, and trains a group of women, the first video in the recently released series, “Stories of Sanginis: A Tribute to Their Strength,” tells her transformational journey while working on the project. Her crucial role in changing lives at the local level is highlighted by an engaging voiceover.

Digital channels like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram will all be used extensively to promote the video series. Additionally, the business has organized an all-India print advertisement to honor the SuPoshan Sanginis’ contributions to the development of a strong and prosperous country.

Since its inception, the Fortune SuPoshan initiative has expanded to over 34 locations in 14 states of India, affecting the lives of nearly 2.5 million people in 190 slums and 1946 villages. Through customized interventions, it has helped reach 1,79,873 children aged 0–5 years, improved the health of over 3,28,854 women of reproductive age, and connected with 1,08,606 adolescent girls.

The program is still dedicated to creating a more empowered and healthy future. They encourage everyone to tune in, honor these incredible women, and lend their support to the effort to create stronger, healthier communities on this International Women’s Day.
