The second cohort of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore’s (IIMB) Bachelor of Business Administration in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship (BBA DBE) program is now open. The goal of this new undergraduate program, which is primarily taught online, is to make high-quality education more accessible. With over 1,000 students enrolled from 29 states and 359 cities, the program is off to a spectacular start in its first year and is only growing in popularity.

As part of IIMB’s efforts to improve undergraduate education in India, the BBA DBE program was established to equip students with the business acumen and digital entrepreneurship skills that are becoming more and more important in the dynamic modern business world.

The BBA DBE program is structured as a three-year online course that offers foundational (certificate), diploma, and full degree levels. It can also be taken as a dual degree option in conjunction with other academic programs. The curriculum of the program incorporates digital capabilities, entrepreneurial skills, and fundamental business disciplines. IIMB has expanded its scholarship opportunities for this new intake to improve affordability.

Program Highlights:

• A Degree that is three years long and can be completed in six.
• After completing Year 1, a certificate is awarded. After completing Year 2, a diploma, and after completing all three years, a degree.
• Online education using recorded content enhanced by in-person meetings with instructors and experts.
• In order to maintain academic integrity, end-of-term exams are administered at locations throughout the nation.
• IIMB graduates are granted undergraduate alumni status, which gives them access to institutional events and networking opportunities.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have passed Class 12 with:

● Minimum 60% marks in General, NC-OBC, and EWS categories

● Minimum 55% marks for SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities

Entrance Options:

Candidates may take the IIMB DBE Entrance Test to test their analytical, verbal, and quantitative abilities. Applicants with CUET/JEE scores of 2023–2025 may apply directly.

Under the IIM Act of 2017, IIMB grants the BBA degree, which has the same status as any other undergraduate degree. Notably, the word “online” is not mentioned anywhere in the certificate, meaning that graduates are fully qualified for competitive exams, postsecondary education abroad, and employment.
